S4OM

Terms of service

Last updated 11 October 2026.

What S4OM is

S4OM is a fan-made multiplayer mod for The Sims 4. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts or Maxis. You need your own legal copy of The Sims 4.

Online membership

  • Online play through our relay servers requires an active S4OM membership on Patreon.
  • Billing, cancellations and refunds are handled by Patreon under Patreon's terms.
  • Your access ends when your membership ends.

No guarantees

S4OM is provided as is. Sims patches can break mods, and we fix them as fast as we can, but we can't promise the mod or the relay will always work. Back up your saves before playing.

Fair use

  • Don't share your access, resell it or let others use your membership.
  • Don't attack, overload or try to break into the relay or other players' games.
  • Follow the rules on our Discord.

We can suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

The mod's source code

The S4OM mod is open source under the GPL-3.0 licence and builds on SimSync by sora and k. These terms cover the online relay service, not your rights under that licence.
